Pupils, parents and staff of The Prescot School did their bit for Children in Need on Friday 18th November 2016, when they raised £1000 for the charity in school through a variety of fund raising activities.
Our pupils hosted a Pudsey Fair that was full of all sorts of fun activities and attractions in our atrium. These included a ‘beat the goalie’ competition, cake stalls, archery, a ‘jump rope’ competition, face painting, pupil musicians playing for charity, a ‘guess the name of the teddy bear’ game, a coconut shy, basketball hoop shooting, and plenty more! The fair was a huge success with lots of students and staff taking part and donating money.
We’re very pleased to report that at the end of all the fund raising, a grand total of £1000 was raised for Children in Need. We’d like to thank everyone who donated to this very worthwhile charity, and a special thanks goes out to all the students and staff who organised and ran all the fabulous activities that took place throughout the day.
