Exhibitors including employers, colleges and universities from the local community and further afield filled the Atrium to give advice, inspiration and guidance to our students. We had small, self-made local businesses alongside huge multinational companies, private sector and public sector organisations, universities from across the country, and of course our local colleges who’s representatives provided amazing interactive displays and demonstrations. We even had the great honour of the presence of the Mayor and Mayoress of Knowsley during the event.
Our students took full advantage of all the expert and experienced personal on hand, and were able to talk and ask meaningful questions about the many possibilities in careers and education that lie ahead of them. This gave them plenty of food for thought about what they can do after leaving school, bringing clarity to many of the options open to them as they take the next important steps in their lives.
Our Year 10 students should now be starting to look for work experience placements for work experience week starting 27th June 2016.
