Our latest Open Evening took place on 21st September 2016 and was a huge success thanks to the great number of parents and primary pupils from our local community who attended.
Don’t worry if you missed it, as we would be more than happy to accommodate any parents who would like to visit our school at a time that suits them. Please just contact our reception to arrange your visit in advance and we will be happy to show you around our school.
We would like to thank all the parents and pupils who attended, and also our pupil guides and ambassadors who stayed after school to support the event. Here is some of the feedback we received from parents who attended the evening:
“I attended the open evening yesterday with my wife and daughter. Firstly can I just say how impressed we were with the two pupils Jessica & Joshua who gave a very comprehensive guided tour. They were dressed smartly, were extremely polite and knowledgeable and presented themselves as ambassadors for your school impeccably.”
“I cannot recall being in a school where all the teachers appeared so really happy, not just because they were speaking to parents but to actually be part of the school.”
“Can I highlight a special thanks to the two young ladies who showed us around, they were extremely helpful, full of information and so polite and courteous. They are a credit to your school.”
“I believe first impressions do count and our first impression was really good.”
We hold Open Evenings after the start of each new academic year where we open our doors to visitors, and especially welcome parents of Year 5 and 6 pupils who would like to get a taste of what life is like here at The Prescot School.
All visitors get a chance to meet our staff and students who are available both to demonstrate skills and expertise in specific subjects and to answer any questions posed by parents and prospective pupils. Many of our students are available as guides on the evening and are happy to show visitors around all areas of the school.
