Year 9 Bronze DofE Award
Published 27/05/22A group of adventurous Year 9 students have been working towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award by setting off on an expedition near Cerrigydrudion, Conwy in Wales.
Part of the challenge was to work as a team to set up a habitable campsite at Tan Y Graig house, using their skills of working together to pitch up a tent and set up camp.
The group were also required to pick up their maps and compasses and explore the beautiful Welsh countryside, navigating themselves around Llyn Brenig Reservoir.
A fantastic display of teamwork and orienteering was shown, all of the students worked incredibly well together and thankfully the weather was on our side!

Anfield Football Stadium Trip – Action for Children
