Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and re-engage with learning? Do you have the creativity, resilience, and commitment to help students succeed in and beyond the classroom?
The Prescot school is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Reintegration Teacher to work with students who are transitioning back into mainstream education following periods of absence, exclusion, or time in alternative provision. This is a vital role in ensuring all students have access to high-quality teaching and a supportive pathway back into school life.
The Role:
- Deliver tailored teaching and mentoring to students both on and off the school site.
- Develop personalised learning plans that meet students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Liaise closely with pastoral and SEND teams, families, external agencies, and alternative providers.
- Support a smooth reintegration into mainstream lessons and routines.
- Champion inclusion and work proactively to remove barriers to engagement and progress.
You Will:
- Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred) with experience of working with students with additional needs, behavioural challenges, or those at risk of exclusion.
- Have a flexible, nurturing approach and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.
- Be confident working independently and as part of a wider team.
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and restorative practices.
